  • Mama Bear Hug gift boxes come in three sizes—Baby Bear, Papa Bear, and Mama Bear—corresponding to small, medium and large. As the bear hugs get bigger (Mama Bear gives the biggest hug), the value and number of items in the gift box increase; however, the quality of stays the same.

  • The items from Mama Bear Hug will be shipped in a sustainable kraft mailer box with our “Hug for you” stamp on the front and shipping label. Inside, the items will be carefully nestled in kraft crinkle cut paper under a personalized “feel the hug” handwritten postcard, kraft tissue, and a small dried floral spray.

    Our intention is to minimize our impact on the environment while protecting your gift. We carefully source packing materials that are sustainably made in the US.

  • Sending a personal message with your Mama Bear Hug gift box is an excellent way to allow the recipient to “feel the hug.” Every gift box includes a “feel the hug” watercolor postcard with your personal message hand-written on the back. Once you have selected your gift box and added it to your cart, you will be asked to type your personal message. Make sure to include how you wish to sign the card.

  • We will promptly fill your order within 1-2 days (not including Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays) and get it into the hands of the shipper. The shipping timeline depends on how far the gift will be travelling but USPS Ground Advantage ranges 2 – 5 days.

  • If you are local to Belchertown, MA then you are welcome to choose to pick-up your gift box and deliver it yourself. Alternatively, you may choose to get the gift box delivered to your own address and then deliver it yourself (Note: A shipping label would appear on the box in this case but a little creativity and it can be covered or removed).

  • Our Mama Bear Hug gift boxes can be shipped anywhere in the U.S.

  • If you realized that you included the incorrect address after ordering, and the gift box has NOT been delivered, please email me at donna@mamabearhug.com and we will get it changed before sending your bear hug out.

    Unfortunately, if the gift box from Mama Bear Hug has already been delivered to the incorrect address that you entered then we are NOT able to change, resend or refund. Hopefully, it will be some consolation that you made someone else feel good.

  • While we do our best to protect our items during shipping, if any items within the gift box (not including the mailer box itself) arrive damaged please email a photo within 2 days of receipt and we will send replacement items.

  • Refund and Returns Policy

    Since the majority of the items in our gift boxes are food or spa products, we are unable to accept returns. However, your satisfaction is very important to us. If you are unhappy with the quality of your purchase, please contact us—we truly value your feedback and are always striving to improve.

     

    • Damaged Products: If the gift box arrives with damaged items, notify us within 2 days (email photos to donna@mamabearhug.com) so we can replace the item for free.

    • Incorrect Orders: If the gift box received is different from what you ordered, we will replace it and refund your return shipping costs.

    • Other Exchanges: We are not able to accommodate exchanges beyond the cases listed above.

    • Lost or Stolen Packages: Mama Bear Hug is not responsible for packages that the carrier confirms as delivered to the shipping address provided at checkout.
